Materials are a proprietary blend of concretes, plaster, liquid metals, resin and more.

A play with contrast, perception, illusion, materiality and reflection. Organic shapes reflect as the light changes to create the feeling of texture and flexibility. Inspired by the ocean and the California landscape, this piece flows as the waves of life. Each wave is unique and signed on the back.

MURALS + ARCHITECTURAL

These sculpted murals and architectural works are completely different than what anyone else in the field is doing. From a materiality standpoint, Katrien has developed her own proprietary techniques that do not involve ceramics and are therefore much lighter and more durable.
